Welcome to Corstorphine Craigsbank Parish Church, a parish of the Church of Scotland, with sanctuary and halls at Craigsbank and East Craigs.
This is a church at the heart of the community − where Birth is celebrated, Love is affirmed, Grief is shared.

Craigsbank Church has been at the heart of Corstorphine for more than seventy years. In that time it has grown and evolved. What started in 1937 as a small, stone built building which served as both hall and sanctuary, was extended with a purpose built sanctuary in 1967 and a second centre in 1984. Over the last few years the church has undergone major refurbishment and it is now returned to its full glory as an icon of 60’s architecture with full A-listing status from Historic Scotland
Now located at Craigsbank and at East Craigs, we are a forward-looking congregation driven by optimism and energy, and led by our enthusiastic minister, Reverend Stewart McPherson and associate minister, Reverend Stephen Manners. Our musician, Catherine Shimwell, leads singers and musicians of all ages in worship every week. Organ, keyboard, trumpet, violin, guitar, double−bass − you never know what you might hear on a Sunday morning!
With almost 30 different groups, from a nursery for the under 5’s to facilities for the elderly, Craigsbank Parish Church and its Church Centre at East Craigs play a central role in the life of the Corstorphine community. For more information about any of the groups, please click here.

Main Church Services
Two morning services take place every Sunday morning of the year:
- 9.45am East Craigs
- 11.30am Craigsbank

During the service there is a crèche for the under 3’s, “Stepping Stones” for ages 3-7, and “Signpost” for ages 7-11.

Communion Services
Communion services are presently held at both Craigsbank and East Craigs, on the first Sundays of February, June and October at Craigsbank, and at East Craigs on the second Sunday of these months
