Join in National Giving Day

Congregations throughout the country are being encouraged by The Church of Scotland to participate in their National Giving Day on a date(s) of their choice between Sunday 5 September and Sunday 31 October 2021. We have chosen to hold a soup and sandwich lunch and a cream tea –  two occasions which will bring us back together in-person and, through donations, help us to raise much needed funds for our recovery from the pandemic period (when weekly giving was reduced) and grow stronger in the process. 100% of funds raised through these initiatives will be used locally for the growth of Craigsbank and East Craigs and associated projects. In normal times, around 60% of funds raised in this way would belong to the central Church of Scotland so we are keen to take advantage of an opportunity such as this when we can retain 100% of funds raised. Visit https://www.churchofscotland.org.uk/worship/national-giving-day for more info.

IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO ATTEND EITHER GATHERING, YOU CAN STILL MAKE A DONATION. SEND A CHEQUE TO CRAIGSBANK CHURCH, CRAIGS BANK, EDINBURGH EH12 8HD OR DROP AN ENVELOPE INTO THE OPEN PLATE AT ANY SERVICE MARKED NATIONAL GIVING DAY. PLEASE SAY IF YOU ARE A TAX PAYER TO ALLOW US TO GET EVEN GREATER BENEFIT FROM YOUR DONATION.
